My experience of watching Mimoh, Jimmy at an empty multiplex

I really feel pity for this boy. Mimoh, Mithun's son. Mithun named his boy Mimoh after Micheal Jackson and Mohammad Ali, whom he used to idolize, he still does, both of them became world famous by their hard work, will power and determination. Thus Mi from Micheal and Moh from Mohammad formed Mimoh.

Mimoh's first movie Jimmy was a disaster. The film bombed at the box office big time. Saturday I have off from office, I went all the way to 24 Carat (Jogeshwari), a multiplex from Andheri to watch the movie, Because the movie was not released in any of the five theaters/multiplexes in Andheri, neither in Bandra or Khar. It was Saturday matinée show, the movie released on Friday, and I was the only the second person in the balcony who watched the movie.

Mimoh danced well, expressions during action scenes were good, but when the product (the movie) is so mundane and seemed like 15 years old, you cant help it. Mithun has to realize that time has changed (I think he is stuck in a time zone when we used to have movies like these, my friends told me now a days he acts in Bengali movies, where he is a big star and these movies are nothing but copy of Hindi films we used to see in 80s and early 90s).

I feel sorry for the kid. Mimoh will surely get another launch pad and will come out as winner. At least he is much better than Tusshar Kapoor, yaar. Really.
