Vikram Bhatt does not like shooting with established stars in his movies. Why not, after all stars throw tantrums, and their price also takes the total cost of the movie up. So, its better you get your film made by newcomers, who are more dedicated and can to any extent (??) to grab a role or two in bollywood.
Take for example his latest movie, Speed, shooting for which is completed and waiting for release. Take a look at its star cast:
A poor man multi starer, Speed features stars like Urmila Matondkar, Zayed Khan, Tanushree Dutta, Amrita Arora, Aaftab Shivdasani, Sanjay Suri, Sophiya Chaudhary, Aashish Chaudhary. Not an ideal new comer movie, you would say.
His previous movie Life Mein Kabhie Kabhie was however almost newcomers' movie. Take a look. The film was not a hit but it recovered its money due to its low budget.
