Vipul Shah had just started shooting his new Amitabh Bachchan-Akshay Kumar
starrer Waqt when he was struck by dengue fever. He’s the third film person after Divya Dutta and Kabir Sadanand to be down with dengue. Fortunately Vipul Shah is back on his feet and back to shooting. Interestingly he has cast his talented wife Shefali Shetty (remember her as Manoj Bajpai’s fiery wife in Satya and as the victim of child abuse in Monsoon Wedding?) as AB’s wife. Giggles Akshay, “Every time I’ve to call her Maa we’d both break into giggles after the shot.” This is Akshay’s fourth film with AB. “Aren’t I lucky?” he preens.
